[OPEN LOG] White Day

There is no place more appropriate to celebrate White Day than the Ice Bar. Bartenders serve the selection of ivory cocktails in sparkling crystal glasses on chunks of ice. Platters of delicate hors d'oeuvres decorate the tables, consisting of quail eggs, miniature goat cheese quiches, oysters in their half-shell, sushi rolls and other vanilla coloured tasters. Origami trees boast flowers of white chocolate truffles wrapped in paper that can be unravelled to reveal your fortune in romance.
Can you feel the love tonight?

Re: Cocktails
He weaved his way through the crowd and sat at the edge of the bar, leaning on it with a seasoned familiarity. Ignoring the bartender that attempted to get his order, the bounty hunter waved to Atobe with a large smile on his face.
Re: Cocktails
With unhurried gestures, Atobe straightened and walked over to his latest patron, leaning against the opposite side of the marble bar top. "Do try to look less like an idol-struck adolescent fan girl," he told Yuikimura. "Uchiwa fans would not add to my decor."
Re: Cocktails
"No hip flask, Kei-chan," Yukimura said smoothly. If it had been anyone else, the bounty hunter wouldn't have admitted to not having his flask on him. Their shared history, however, gave Atobe the tiniest sliver of trust. "What do you recommend?"
(ooc: so rude, calling him sludge of the space underworld)
Re: Cocktails
"I would recommend the white lady," he told Yukimura. "Gin, cointreau, lemon and fresh egg white." He looked back at his companion, the slate grey gaze slightly mocking. "It has a pearlescent sheen that instantly reveals if it has been incorrectly mixed or adapted and ... the name suits you." The former part of that might even have been good advice for a man who needed to always know what touched his lips.

[ooc: you're welcome :D]
Re: Cocktails
"Hmm, any other suggestions?" The bounty hunter asked. He rested an elbow on the counter and propped up his chin in his hand. "What are you drinking tonight, Keigo?"

Re: Cocktails
To Yukimura's own drink selection, he gave an amused half-smile. "A yellow cocktail? You are intent on ruining my decor."
Re: Cocktails
The bounty hunter grinned. "Your decor was ruined without my drink selection, Keigo," he said. "Just look at all the people milling about who couldn't afford stepping inside before now."
Re: Cocktails
He stepped away from the bar top and reached for a new glass, deftly mixing the rum and juices into the requested cocktail. He placed the finish product in front of Yukimura with a small, sarcastic nod, emphasised by the addition of fresh pineapple added in perfect balance to the rim. His lips curled as he remarked, "You might be able to select a liquor but you have not developed a sense of class for cocktails."
Re: Cocktails
Regardless, that wasn't the bounty hunter's problem. He'd find them wherever they decided to spend their last free moments.
Yukimura pulled the cocktail closer to him and took a sip. "Delicious. Though, I didn't expect anything but perfection from you," he said then gave a pointed look to Atobe. "Don't judge my taste in cocktails. I wanted something sweet this round."
(ooc: next time, he wants a Black Maria)
Re: Cocktails
He offered Yukimura a thin smile. "We both judge, Yukimura. It's what we do best." He looked down at the glass of nine tales. "Pace yourself. My liquor is to be savoured, not for inebriation."
Re: Cocktails
Atobe had a point. They would be fantastic judges on "Sector 7's Got Talent" or some other inane show that pits marginally talented individuals against one another for a shot at being in a tabloid once or twice. "That we do, but I'd argue I'm best at something else," Yukimura told him, plucking off the pineapple slice and taking a bite. "Oh Keigo, I'd never allow myself to get inebriated in front of you. Especially in front of all these people."
Re: Cocktails
The idea of a drunk bounty hunter did have an amusing side to it. However, Atobe suspected concerns of foul play would see him personally escorting the other man to a safe location. There were many ways things could go from there. About 75% of them resulted in him being stunned. Again.
He lifted a plate of delicately arranged chocolates that had yet to be offered around on top of the bar. "Eat," he told Yukimura. "Stomach lining."
Re: Cocktails
Chocolate? Really? "It doesn't go with my drink," the bounty hunter told him. "But thanks for being the mom friend and trying to look out for me."
